A wear-resistant decorative surface made of resin-based melamine. The resin-filled wear layer is very dense, making it extremely difficult to stain, scratch, or burn with a cigarette.
Now a days you can lay a floating floor directly onto concrete or timber subfloors without the need to nail down, and many are now self-lock joints, making the whole process much simpler.
Solid wood floors offer long life and durability. Due to natural shrinkage and expansion, we recommend wood floors are nailed down to minimise movement.
